Buried Horizon Retreat

A concrete form folding into the land and disappearing beneath a living roof.

The house settles into the terrain, allowing the landscape to continue across its surface. From a distance, the architecture almost disappears, leaving only a few openings that frame the mountains, the sky, and the changing light.

Inside, concrete creates a quiet sense of shelter, while large openings bring the landscape into the spaces. The boundary between house and surroundings becomes almost invisible.
