Fissure House
NO Architects
Carved between mass and void, Fissure House inhabits the threshold where architecture and geology intertwine. Solid planes of stone-like surfaces frame a narrow passage, while raw rock edges remain exposed, preserving the memory of the terrain. Light filters softly through controlled openings, guiding movement and emphasizing the tension between precision and erosion. The project becomes a spatial fracture—both shelter and passage—where inhabitation unfolds within the quiet intimacy of the earth.
