Grand Chu

The winery does not rise above the vineyard. It is revealed by it.

The architecture follows the quiet geometry of the vines until the land begins to open. What appears from above is not a building, but a subtle incision in the landscape, a gesture shaped by time rather than construction.

Like the roots of the vineyard, the spaces descend into the earth, where light fades and temperature becomes constant. Stone, shadow and silence replace ornament. Here, the architecture does not protect the wine; the earth does.

The curved walls echo the slow movement of the surrounding terraces, transforming the landscape into a continuous interior. Every passage follows the rhythm of cultivation, every opening frames the changing seasons, and every surface carries the weight of geological time.

The winery becomes part of the vineyard's own cycle—a place where earth, climate and patience converge into a single experience.

It is not carved into the land.

It is the land remembering its own depth.
