Grand Chu

The winery does not rise from the vineyard. It stays beneath it.

From above, only a quiet trace appears between the vines. The architecture follows the land and disappears into it, descending slowly towards the dark and the constant temperature of the earth.

Stone, shadow, and silence take over. Curved walls continue the lines of the terraces, while the changing light marks the passage of time.

Nothing feels added to the landscape. The building belongs to the same ground as the vines.
