Strata House

A linear presence oriented toward the surrounding terrain. The project unfolds as a calm architectural gesture that accompanies the natural slope, establishing a subtle but deliberate relationship with the vastness of the landscape.

A band of concrete extends carefully across the hillside, forming a quiet line that follows the topography rather than resisting it. Its presence is restrained and measured, allowing the terrain to remain the dominant element. The distant horizon becomes an integral part of the spatial experience, constantly visible and silently woven into the daily life of the house.

Openings are positioned with precision, framing long views across the land while allowing light to slide gently across the surfaces throughout the day. Inside, the atmosphere is grounded and serene. Solid materials provide a sense of permanence and shelter, while the visual continuity with the exterior dissolves the boundary between the built space and the landscape beyond.

In Strata House, architecture does not attempt to dominate the site. Instead, it aligns itself with the rhythms of the territory, creating a quiet dialogue between construction and nature. The project becomes a place where the horizontal line of the house meets the endless horizon, transforming the act of inhabiting into a continuous awareness of the land that surrounds it.
